Analyst/Associate - Corporate Development - FinTech (2-4 yrs)
A leading fintech company, which has achieved unicorn status, is embaring on a significant expansion drive and expects to go public in the near future. As part of this, the company is looking to grow its strategic corporate development arm to manage both fund raising activities as well as acquisitions by hiring an experienced professional to enhance the team.
Responsibilities :
- Helping to drive fundraising, M&A and investor relation activities
- Supporting growth strategy and execution through effective execution of m&a opportunities, strategic investments and joint ventures
- Helping manage the company's relationships and coordinating with various service providers such as investment banks and external subject matter (tax, legal, accounting etc) experts as required.
- Supporting the investor relations effort
Qualifications :
- 2-4 years of relevant experience in M&A banking, pereferably with a MNC Bank. FIG (financial institutions) or Fintech experience will be an advantage
- High degree of relevant technical skills - strong grasp of finance, financial modelling on spreadsheets,pitchbooks etc
- Strong communication skills - oral and written (including presentation skills)
- Experience in working with international stakeholders will be a plus
