We are looking for a detail-oriented Senior Accountant/Accounts Payable Specialist to manage financial reporting, vendor payments, reconciliations, tax compliance, and month-end closures. The ideal candidate should have a strong grasp of accounting principles, financial processes, and team leadership, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial & Accounting Operations

- Oversee month-end and year-end closing, ensuring accurate financial reporting.

- Manage AP processes, vendor payments, reconciliations, and financial allocations.

- Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations, AR/AP reports, and tax filings (1099, Sales Tax, CRT, TPT, etc.).

- Support audit teams and ensure compliance with statutory tax returns.

- Address client queries regarding financial statements and reporting.

Client & Business Management

- Maintain client and vendor coordination, ensuring timely approvals and payments.

- Deliver accurate financial reports and ensure compliance with regulatory filings.

- Develop and implement SOPs for financial processes.

Team Leadership & Development

- Train and mentor team members, ensuring adherence to internal processes.

- Assist in performance reviews and foster a disciplined work environment.

Process Improvement & Growth

- Optimize financial processes, implement Task Manager checklists, and ensure data accuracy.

- Participate in self-development programs to enhance leadership skills.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- Strong understanding of Accounting and Financials.

- Experience in vendor reconciliations and accounts payable.

- Proficiency in accounting software and financial reporting tools.

- Excellent English communication skills (both written and verbal).

- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team.

- Critical thinking and a problem-solving mindset.

- Ability to meet stringent deadlines and handle high-volume financial transactions.
