Associate Manager - Regulatory Affairs - Cosmetics

Role Objective/Purpose of the Role:

- Provide scientific (technical) support and ensure documentation and processes for the India Regulatory Affairs team for regulatory compliance of cosmetic products

Primary Responsibilities:

- Provide scientific (technical) support in preparation/submission of dossiers and licensing documents for Cosmetics (Beauty/Personal Care) products

- Ensure documentation for regulatory compliance processes including product licensing, artwork, regulator/customer queries, Business merchandising material and product/ingredient dossier preparation/submission

- Support ITM/pre-ITM projects for local product launches

- Create / support in creating Regulatory impact assessments of new regulations in Beauty/Personal Care categories

- Ensure documentation/process flow in line with company processes (PLM) to support the Regulatory Affairs team in implementing regulatory related changes

- Partnering internally with cross functional teams and with Regional and Global Regulatory Affairs for ensuring support for regulatory compliance, query responses and preparing Merchandising material of Cosmetic products

Education - Post graduate degree

Degree Field - post graduate degree in Science/ Pharmacy/ Biotechnology

Related Experience (years) - 2-5 years in Regulatory Affairs function in Cosmetics/FMCG industry

Required Skills and Competencies :

- Knowledge of product regulatory compliance requirements

- Knowledge of licensing/registration process of Cosmetic products.

- Basic Product formulation knowledge in Cosmetic range of products

- Knowledge of Stability studies guidelines and GMP requirements.

- Good written and verbal communication skills

- Good computer knowledge
