Job Purpose: The position has overall responsibility for sourcing of Packaging Materials of Amway's India business with an utmost focus on cost, Quality and On-time supplies.  Job Responsibilities:   - Sustain cost leadership by strategic and aggressive negotiations with vendors  - Benchmark cost drivers and Negotiate price contracts with vendors taking into consideration Market scenario  - Track and record price changes against Budget and previous buying prices  - Present tactical buying opportunities to his up-line manager for approvals  - Works very closely with internal clients to: Identify sourcing needs, cost saving initiatives  - Identify New vendors while ensuring that Amway requirement on Quality, Cost, Supply assurances are met  - Handling localization or direct sourcing opportunity overlaps with localization team from procurement & technical to ensure un-interrupted supplies  - Support internal team to track supplier performance and work with them to upgrade suppliers as per Amway Standard Guidelines  - Conduct regular supplier review meetings to address routine issues  - Implement short & long term sourcing strategies to get the best economic value for the Enterprise  - Support Planning function at factories in their relation with suppliers  - Regular price updation in JDE for release of PO because of very dynamic market environment long term contracts are not available  - Creation of Business award recommendation and signing of price contracts with all the suppliers to ensure the compliance as per audit requirements  Functional Skills:  - Benchmarking  - Business Partner Relationship Management  - Commercial Agreements  - Industry & Competitive Analysis  - Negotiation  Experience: 5 to 8 years in relevant field
