It is the analytical engine that powers profitable business growth through consultative and innovative solutions across GCS.The listed job is an exciting opportunity for supporting the GDCT&amp;O organization and be a part of Commercial Insights team in DS&amp;I. Commercial Insights supports the Large Market of American Express. This role will lead team responsible for supporting these Large Market and Global clients with insights related to their T&amp;E and B2B spend on American Express Corporate and B2B Purchase products. The candidate will report into a Director and will lead a team to partner closely with leaders across Commercial Product Organization to ideate and prototype best-in-class analytics to facilitate well-informed and effective decision making. Beyond the primary role as a people leader, this position requires the ability to handle a set of external and internal clients and partners as well as lead and coach team members on how to deliver impactful insights, identify and promote global consistency &amp; synergies where necessary. Purpose of the Role : - Develop, design &amp; deploy automated utilities &amp; solutions that can be leveraged by analytical &amp; business teams to drive efficiencies and can be scaled up to global and large Corporate clients Responsibilities : Key Responsibilities include : - Leading a high performing team and ensuring a close collaboration &amp; partnership with regional stakeholders - Ideating and prototyping data-driven insights to help stakeholders to uncover trends and underlying drivers of growth and profitability to inform business strategy - Create customer clusters through sophisticated segmentation and deploy customized solutions / product recommendations. Closely collaborate with business partners to maximize the business value of solutions with innovative platform and intelligence enhancements - Roll out of Commercial Insights solutions to large number of clients within market / segment by effective utilization of digital platform, marketing collaterals and website channel. - Drive adoption and socialization of commercial Insights solution to retain existing clients, add new prospects, build stickiness to AXP and charge volume retention. - Ensure smooth onboarding experience of ~1000 clients / Ads. Also work very closely with AD and field team to conduct numerous training sessions to ensure Commercial Insights being leveraged and justifies return on investment. - Partnering with numerous regional teams to drive innovation, best practices and global synergies Strong business and financial acumen, with solid quantitative skills and creativity in developing insightful analytics. Credit card analytics experience preferred Critical Factors to Success : - Enable data driven actionable insights for field &amp; clients to enable growth and retention - Conduct prototyping of insights products and services based on client needs - Create alternate revenue streams by monetizing insights products - Conceptualize and develop client facing insights solutions (Insights Product Manager) - Strengthen solution algorithms to make them industry-leading insights products for American Express through internal and external research (Insights Product Manager) - Go to Market strategy and drive adoption of Commercial Insights offerings and Product management approach to scale the offerings. Qualifications : Past Experience : - Prior experience in Analytics and client facing and management role preferred Academic Background : - 6+ years of relevant work experience and preferably a Master's Degree or equivalent degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, Econometrics, Mathematics, Finance or Operations Research preferred. This role may be subject to additional background verification checks.
