Function Description : - Global Corporate Services (GCS) continues to be a fast growing business within American Express with the key objectives of accelerating growth, increasing profitability, and enhancing product value propositions to meet client needs. - The Data, Strategy &amp; Insights (DS&amp;I) India team within GCS is instrumental in driving these objectives by providing actionable data driven insights and consultative solutions to sales and account development teams across the globe. - The open role is an exciting opportunity to be part of the GCS growth story in a dynamic, intellectually stimulating, open, fun and collaborative environment. Purpose of the Role : - This role will support the fast-accelerating GCS business by leading Splendid for GCG segment and creating actionable insights on Share of wallet leveraging both AMEX data as well as external data from Client. The role will be focused in identifying business growth opportunities, as well as support clients up for renewal/RFP with deep coverage insights and positioning. Responsibilities : - Manage and mentor a team of analysts responsible for creating Spend Leakage analyses, using client's expense data obtained from Concur and other T&amp;E expense management systems - Proactively drive and influence the decision-making process by delivering key insights and outcomes to Senior Leadership - Deliver timely insights to account development managers managing GCG clients, for leakage reduction and growth opportunities in their portfolio. Data driven approach to guide them on opportunities - Strategic acceleration through Splendid X initiatives, collaborating with multiple functions to drive synergies and outcomes - Partnership on Trilogy, strategic enterprise initiative focused on driving card member value - Senior leader interactions and updates, project management mindset, milestone driven result oriented approach - Facilitating user engagement, training, onboarding for new account development managers. Qualifications : Critical Factors to Success : - Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with ability to present and translate complex information to both executive and technical partners - Proven track record at building relationships, and partnering with internal clients on complex business problems to develop actionable recommendations - Ability to translate the business requirements into technical specifications and work with tech partners to get the features developed into an online solution - Relevant experience in People Management and Analytics; Ability to mentor and guide the team on technical skills (SAS/SQL/Excel/Tableau/Big Data technology etc) Past Experience : - At least 7 years of experience overall - Prior experience with a financial services or consulting organization - Prior experience in Global Commercial Services, especially in the domain of Commercial Cards products a plus - Prior experience on partnership with technology for solutions development and delivery is preferable - Ability to lead a global team with analytics &amp; reporting remit, drive the group forward strategically Academic Background : - Minimum bachelor degree from reputed institute. - Masters and/or professional qualifications an added advantage Functional Skills/Capabilities : - Experience with Commercial Cards domain, Concur data desirable Technical Skills/Capabilities : - SAS, SQL, Hive, Python, VBA, Excel Knowledge of Platforms : - Concur Data Job type- Permanent Industry Type - Operations The Apply Button will redirect you to website.
