Purpose of the Role : - Join our team to roll out and operate exciting new products and services that help all American Express customers. The ideal candidate will be able to lead projects and help support the team in the implementation, validation and ongoing support of various tracking and tag management platforms. You'll work closely with our business and product managers, web and mobile engineering team. - The colleague will develop a new process and approach to create and communicate a roadmap of deliverables across tagging and data governance effort while at the same time balancing technical stakeholders requirements on a day to day basis. Responsibilities : - Implementation and management of web analytics, DMP, MTA, Media tracking and ta management platforms - Support the tagging and data governance team in the overall successful delivery of the analytic projects. - Partner with marketing, engineering, product teams to enhance the existing data structure and define the data governance framework - Organizing web projects/programs and activities in accordance with the mission and goals of the One Amex - Support strong data governance i.e. maintaining data quality, user management and other data governance initiative supported by the team, aligned with the overall governance, and ensure that timely decisions are taken. - Develop analytics requirements, document, and assist with QA of dataLayer implementation within a variety of platforms and environments. - Developing new programs to support the strategic direction of One Amex - Developing a budget and operating plan for the program - Executing the programs with the support of Business, Product and Software Engineering teams - Actively identify customer needs and push to fulfill these needs - Partner across American Express teams to align and seek buy-in for the vision - Work closely with engineering, data, analytics and product management teams to deliver results Minimum Qualifications : Critical Factors to Success : - We are looking for a strong leader who can work at the intersection of business, engineering, and user experience, with deep domain knowledge of managing projects and operations related to tagging management and operations. - Track record of managing global enterprise technologies Past Experience : Experience of 5+ years as a program / project manager of complex web technologies Academic Background : Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or related technical field; MBA a plus Functional Skills : Track record of shaping project and program strategy and roadmaps for web operations &amp; compliance Technical Skills : - Deep knowledge of web applications and java script languages Knowledge of Platforms : Experience using Ensighten, Tealium or similar tag management platform Behavioural Areas : - Growth mindset; ability to learn and introduce new ideas for innovation - Strong written communication skills and the ability to influence other teams - Strong business acumen and judgement - We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
