Job Description:&nbsp; - The merchant services and network capabilities domains are dynamic and fast evolving area of business. The merchant is the recipient of every technological advancement in the PoS and online space and the new age digital and network capabilities. The push post demonetization has arguably brought even a large part of the unorganized retail into the formal economy. Spoilt for choice, the merchant is now wooed by every acquirer and often, the merchant discount rate becomes the key consideration for acceptance or loyalty. In this fast-paced dynamic scenario, how do you showcase the American Express value proposition to the merchant, protect premium DR and ensure warm acceptance? - American Express in India is committed to ensuring parity coverage in the top 14 cities where our cards are also issued. The acquiring models in the country are varied - some through the proprietary sales force, some through partners. Today a bulk of our acquisition is undertaken by the bank partners under the OptBlue program. - The Manager - Merchant Value Proposition role will mainly focus on how to reiterate the American Express value proposition, monitor portfolio performance and servicing optimization initiatives for the proprietary merchant base. This role will have to closely work with the OptBlue teams to also percolate best practices across the market to ensure better acceptance. - This role will also require an in-depth understanding of how a network functions, what are the core capabilities and developments in the ecosystem. - We are looking for an energetic, agile, passionate and hands on Manager to join the team to continue to drive growth in a dynamic fast paced environment. A passion for the customer and proven ability to drive results is key to this role. Gaining an in depth understanding of the merchant services products and offerings, you will be required to create strategies to drive merchant engagement through existing and new communication channels as well as develop innovative ideas to deliver customer value on existing products. You will be responsible for the following: - Create and implement a Merchant Satisfaction Index. This will be a dynamic tool, resulting from both primary and secondary research, market benchmarking and best practices. - Primary responsibility to better Satisfaction with Coverage YoY by a targeted %age in the NPS surveys (there is no PoC any more) - Engagement with key stakeholders - consumer, corporate and GMS - Working closely with the GMS COE to bring best practices to India - Working with the global GMS product team - Engage with CMO to create and disseminate communication to the merchant base - Work with PCG to bring best in class capabilities to India - Look at implementation of digital capabilities to enhance merchant experience - Be aware, and keep abreast of developments, both internally and externally on the network space - Produce regular reports to monitor portfolio performance, provide insights and make recommendations to meet custome goals - Investigating, problem solving and recommending solutions to improve the merchant experience - Deliver insights based on customer satisfaction surveys and competitor benchmarking to identify, recommend and size product improvements to improve customer satisfaction Qualifications: - 8-12 years of marketing experience ideally with a combination of network product, project and relationship management within financial services, or similar industry - Strong networking in the industry - Experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously, utilizing project management skills to deliver to critical timelines and with excellent attention to detail - Proven skills in relationship management and influencing cross functional project teams - Results oriented with excellent organizational skills - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Sound business acumen with experience in sizing opportunities - Team player who is flexible &amp; maintains a positive attitude even during changing work priorities. - Tertiary qualifications preferably in marketing or business - Understanding of American Express- Merchant business and the competitive landscape an advantage Job type- Full Time Industry Type - Digital Commerce The Apply Button will redirect you to website.
