Functional Description: Credit and Fraud Risk (CFR) team helps drive profitable business growth by reducing the risk of fraud and maintaining our customers' confidence in the security of our products. It utilizes an array of tools and ever-evolving technology to detect and combat fraud, minimize the disruption of good spending and provide a world-class customer experience. The team leads efforts that leverage data and digital advancements to improve service and risk management as well as enable commerce and drive innovation. Credit and Fraud Risk Capabilities team is responsible for collaborating with Risk Strategy teams to enable best-in-class risk management decisions across entire customer life cycle. Purpose of the Role: Product Owner for New Accounts Onboarding. Responsibilities: - Enable cross-functional collaboration with relevant teams - Prioritize and maintain a backlog of features and enhancements consistent with outcome objectives - Appropriately identify and raise risks, challenges, opportunities to advance the team - Translate the product roadmap into well-defined requirements, user stories and acceptance test criteria - Create a Product Backlog for tech team - Partner with design and technology teams to develop, test and deliver the defined capabilities Minimum Qualifications : Qualifications : - 2-3 years of experience in product development/product management is preferred - Agile SAFe experience a plus - Experience using data driven approaches to identify opportunities, evaluate results and enhance experiences with a customer-first mindset - Experience working with engineering teams, architects and designers to deliver new features - Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage, influence, and inspire partners and stakeholders to drive decision making, collaboration and alignment - Ability to build strong relationships with key business partners and stakeholders and take a proactive approach to collaboration American Express is an equal opportunity employer and makes employment decisions without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, protected veteran status, disability status, age, or any other status protected by law.
