Function Description :

- American Express is on a journey to provide the world's best customer experience every day.


- The Digital Experience & Platforms team (DEP), within Global Commercial Services, is focused on designing and delivering a seamless Commercial digital experience that drives customer engagement as well as business growth. The team's scope ranges from UX design, development of web/mobile experiences and collaboration with Blue Box wide colleagues to drive digital engagement.

- The Digital Data Capabilities & Experimentation (within Digital Solutions & Measurement function) is a part of DEP team and would deliver digital data solutions, digital measurement automation and digital experimentation strategy for the GCS suite of digital products & capabilities.-

The team would be responsible for :

- Creatively problem solve for internal stakeholders and external clients using data capabilities and machine learning

- Achieve efficiency & self-serve for digital measurement through automation, process optimization, & driving data strategy

- Incorporating experimentation to drive product enhancements and continue to solidify measurement foundation

- This will be achieved through a close collaboration with the digital product teams, analytics, marketing, servicing, technologies and field teams.

- The Sr. Analyst for Digital Data Solutions will report into the Manager, Digital Data Solutions

Purpose of the Role : Creatively problem solve for internal stakeholders and external clients using data, reporting and monitoring digital capabilities across GCS

Responsibilities :

- Understand business objectives, convert it to data/reporting requirements & perform data discovery to identify right data sources

- Explore to uncover various digital data sets as per GCS DEP business requirements, recommend and implement business solutions-

- Partner with relevant GCS teams to research & design data logic for the data and reporting capability

- Design and implement client interim solutions on cornerstone

- Create interim automations by self as well as by partnering with tech teams

- Work with relevant DEP/GCS product & DEP/GCS tech teams to implement long term solution

- Partner with tech and data teams to drive Cornerstone and GDR data ingestion strategy

- Drive DEP product data design and capture strategy to enable Next Gen Product enhancements

- Partner with tech and data teams to drive Cornerstone and GDR data ingestion strategy

- Handle manipulation of large datasets on Hadoop / Cornerstone to ensure faster data analysis

- Deliver self-serve capabilities focused on the product roadmap for GCS servicing digital products by gaining deep functional understanding of the GCS digital channels over time and ensure analytical insights are relevant and actionable-

- Flawless execution of the development, validation & implementation of impactful internal, field and client capabilities

- Build partnerships with internal stakeholders such as Product, Technologies, Analytics, Field, Servicing and Marketing/Engagement.

Past Experience :

- 3-6 years of experience in information management, business reporting & data exploration

- Experience in commercial domain preferred

Academic Background : Bachelor/Advanced degree in computer science, IT or Information management from premium institutes

Functional Skills/Capabilities :

- Strong problem solving skills with ability to solve unstructured and complex business problems

- Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation and storytelling skills at multiple organizational levels

- Ability to build & leverage relationships and influence broadly across the organization

- Results driven with strong project management stills and ability to work on multiple priorities
