Job Description : Function description : - Business Financing and supplier payments (BFSP) is one of the growing lending portfolio which has a unique set of challenges which needs to be actively managed through innovative strategies in close collaboration with Acquisition, Risk Business Development, Enterprise Digital and external partners. - This is a critical role responsible for overseeing the end to end processes and policies across multiple products under business finance and supplier payments and through the customer life cycle. - Business finance and supplier payments has plenty of products under its remit with each one of them owned by one functional risk team. There is a need to oversee all the products as an independent reviewer and risk manager Job Responsibilities : - Design and standardize effective risk management policies across all products under business financing and supplier payments business - Build partnership and liaison with external vendors and support their engagement and onboarding with Amex - Responsible for building foundational risk metrics and dashboard for all the products in BFSP - Partner with teams across Acquisition, Risk Business Development, Enterprise Digital, Product and Finance to develop partner strategies that enable prudent and profitable growth, while controlling for through-the-cycle volatility - Independently lead the tombstone reviews to identify the key areas of opportunities and work with other risk teams and partners to implement them - Lead, engage, and inspire a team of high performing risk professionals Critical Factors to Success : Business Outcomes : - Drive profitable portfolio growth through revenue growth balanced with prudent loss controls - Leverage advanced data &amp; analytics to gain deep understanding of customers and behaviors - Design best in class processes to provide optimal credit experience Leadership Outcomes : - Put enterprise thinking first, connect the role's agenda to enterprise priorities and balance the needs of customers, partners, colleagues &amp; shareholders. - Build the best team through proactive coaching and feedback - Lead with an external perspective, challenge status quo and bring continuous innovation to our existing offerings - Demonstrate learning agility, make decisions quickly and with the highest level of integrity - Lead with a digital mindset and deliver the world's best customer experiences every day Qualifications : Past experience : - At least 3 years+ experience in risk/information management or analytical roles Academic background : - Preferably Masters in any of Engineering, Technology, Management, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics or related subjects Functional skills/capabilities : - Risk/Information Management or Data Analytics Technical skills/capabilities : - Data &amp; Quantitative Analytics, Prioritization and project management Knowledge of platform : - General knowledge key risk or data platforms Behavioral skills/capabilities : - Thought leadership, collaboration, communication Job type- Permanent Industry Type - Operations The Apply Button will redirect you to website.
