Job responsibilities :&nbsp; This role is responsible for driving key enterprise focused HR priorities in the India market. As the Market HR Manager in the market, this role will focus on initiatives within and across the 4 platforms on the MEP - Local Talent Planning - Employee Engagement &amp; Advocacy - Employee Development - One AXP (Attract&amp; Select talent) - You will collaborate with the Centers of Expertise to drive a consistent and positive employee experience.&nbsp; - This role reports to the Director of Market HR, India. Key Responsibilities : - Provides insight in the creation of the India Market Employee Plan (MEP) - Leads the execution of the India Market Employee Plan in collaboration with the Centers of Expertise (CoEs) and the Market HR team - Works across all business units in the market to drive a One American Express people agenda - Owns and leads key projects in partnership with business leaders - Supports business and geographic integration by applying local expertise to translate into strategy and plans relevant to the market Responsibilities are organized under the following four areas : Local Talent Planning :&nbsp; - Plays a key role in leading talent planning and execution for first level executive and below roles in the India market (with CoE and HRBP support, as needed). - Drives high potential talent management with a view on supporting career growth and planning - Partners with the Talent Acquisition team to build future capabilities to drive the American Express business in the market Employee Engagement :&nbsp; - Drives a consistent employee experience for HR products and services through collaborating with CoEs and the Global Strategic Capabilities and Servicing function - Drives relevant and impactful market level employee engagement initiatives and work with local leaders to address gaps - Support strategic external branding initiatives such as Great Place to Work, AON Hewitt Best Employers, and Diversity and Inclusion recognition, as well as internal branding at the market level 3. Employee Development :&nbsp; - Partners with Global Learning and Development to provide insights in designing and deploying leadership and development programs for employees in the market - Develops employee career growth and development strategy and plans to retain talent, and enable greater broad career opportunities for employees within and across markets - Supports employee networks, global and locally driven initiatives to foster career growth and development 4. One AXP :&nbsp; - Partner with CoE wherever applicable, on talent attraction/selection strategies - Partner with relevant stakeholders in building/delivering/executing a strong employer brand/EVP - This role may be subject to additional background verification checks. Qualifications : MBA with over 5 years of HR generalist experience - Experience in core HR activities and business facing role /people consulting is a plus - Shows awareness of and knowledge of employment and labor environment in the market - Possesses strong business acumen, demonstrating a keen interest in understanding the business, market trends - Builds relationships and leverages them to drive outcomes - Ability to work in a matrix environment with influencing and conflict-resolution &amp; project mgmt skills - Excellent communication skills; able to tailor messages to the audience as well as present to senior leaders (local &amp; global) - Experience in leading and implement change management - Keen focus on delivering consistent and positive employee experience - Able to deal with ambiguity in shifting environments Job type- Full Time Industry Type - Human Resources The Apply Button will redirect you to website.
