Come join us and realize your potential. - Global Corporate Payments (GCP) continues to be a fast growing business within American Express with the key objectives of accelerating growth, increasing profitability, and enhancing product value propositions to meet client needs. - The Data, Strategy & Insights (DS&I) India team within GCP is instrumental in driving these objectives by providing actionable data driven insights and consultative solutions to core marketing teams across the globe. This role will support the fast-accelerating GCP business through a detailed analysis on our Global client's expense data (Non-AXP volumes). Prime responsibilities would be: - Play a pivotal role in an on-going development, validation and delivery of sophisticated, Tableau-based client-level dashboards, providing Coverage & Compliance Insights into each Global client's portfolio - Partner with LM Account Development Managers/Directors to drive compliance in their respective client's expense portfolio and provide them regular updates/insights for client meetings - Deliver insightful reporting, improve data integrity & management, and create analytics to help the leadership as well as field team evaluate and drive business performance - Mentor the junior team members on best applicable approaches in response to analysis objectives posed by Account Development teams. Bring the team up the learning curve by imparting decisive techniques to effectively drive Spend Leakage to reduction - Establish and manage a measurement system around leakage reduction, to be driven through regular, ongoing discoveries delivered via Coverage & Compliance Insights dashboards - Own and engage the discussions with tech partners to transform the SPLENDID dashboard/capability to an online, state-of-the-art experience for GCP field and end-client users in the POA state - Create and maintain SOP documentation for all process specific tasks Mandatory Skills: - High attention to details and capable of analyzing large datasets and ability to generate effective insides through data visualization and analysis - Strong communication skills in order to be able to communicate clearly and concisely - Project Management and time management skills and focus on prioritising and delivering assignments timely - Demonstrate teamwork with strong personal accountability, commitment and integrity. - Ability to work in high-pressure situations with minimal errors - Strong-hold on Tableau, SAS, SQL and MS-Office suite of products (Excel and PowerPoint) - Interpersonal, relationship and influence skills that allow for close partnerships with internal customers and stakeholders - Desirable Skills: - Prior Experience in Spend Analytics, Spend Leakage analysis etc.- - Qualifications - Master's degree in Business, Statistics, Economics, Engineering or related fields is a MUST - At least 6 years of experience overall - Minimum 3 years of experience in the financial analytics domain - Should be comfortable with flexible shift timings to support the international business - Should be tenured for a minimum of 18 months at Band 28 and 12 months at Band 30 in the current role as on the date of application deadline (for internal candidates) - Should not be on Level 3 or above counseling at the time of applying (for internal candidates) - Should have a performance rating of G3L3 or better in the last review (for internal candidates) Job type- Full Time Industry Type - Operations The Apply Button will redirect you to website.
