- As part of Credit and Fraud Risk capabilities Team, we help drive profitable business growth by reducing the risk of fraud and maintaining our customers' confidence in the security of our products. It utilizes an array of tools and ever-evolving technology to detect and combat fraud, minimize the disruption of good spending and provide a world-class customer experience.


- This exciting position is within the Credit & Fraud Risk Capabilities, Gurgaon, as the member responsible for building and maintaining the in-house applications that support best-in-class model implementation journeys for Credit and Fraud Risk models ; globally to mitigate risks to the AXP brand, customer experience and Bank Holding Company status.


- The Business Logic Management within Risk Products & Data Strategy implements Strategies across Onboarding (Credit & Fraud), Customer Management & Authorization, in addition to managing the structured Risk Data from internal as well as external sources.


- This team is responsible for defining and driving the transformation and modernization of risk management products across risk technology platforms. Our teams have technical and communication skills that enable them to work with cross-functional teams in various domains across the company including Risk Strategy, Servicing, Product Management, Decision Sciences and Technology.


- We develop, and design logic used in risk management automation that is durable, scalable, easy to deploy and transparent to business strategy partners in real-time and batch environments.


- The Risk Data team within Risk Products & Data strategy develops and maintains risk data to cater to strategies across Onboarding (Credit & Fraud), Customer Management & Authorization, regulatory in addition to managing the structured Risk Data from internal as well as external sources.


- The team is responsible for applying data engineering principles to data requirements with a strong focus on data governance and data quality.


- We lead the transformation of critical risk data process on the legacy platforms to modern platforms and integrate them into risk systems.


- Our team collaborates with internal capabilities stakeholders like Data Architects, Business Architects and partners to decide on the right data design/model


Responsibilities :


The responsibilities include, but are not limited to :


The Business Logic Management :


i. Develop and Deploy Risk Products like Business Logic Management, Data Derivation/Ingestion, Data Quality and Business Intelligence.


ii. Work in a scrum team environment with Scrum Master, Product Owner and peers to develop and deploy logic Work on proprietary Cornerstone/Risk platforms using Big Data Tools and Framework including but not limited to Hive, SQL, Spark, ETL.


iii. Correlate requirements to the impact of logic to cardmembers and perform unit and end-to-end testing


iv. Contribute into evaluating and/or developing right tools, common components, and capabilities


v. Develops deep understanding of business logic, intent and long term objectives to align priorities and

develop long life solutions.


vi. Identifies opportunities to adopt innovative technologies


vii. Provides continuous support for ongoing application availability


viii. Participate and contribute in scrum demo, grooming, and retrospectives


Risk Data Teams :


i. Responsible for applying data engineering principles to data requirements


ii. Develop and maintain risk data to cater for both Production use cases and Analytics


iii. Define data quality controls (like detective, preventive, B&Cs) for batch and real time data and partner with tech teams in designing and building these controls. Responsible for timely validation, tracking and closure of quality control checks


iv. Contribute to development of capabilities to reduce manual operations and prevent operational risk


v. Analyze large volumes of data (with millions/billions of records) to effectively verify needs of new build and deal with arising anomalies in existing variables

Academic Background :


- Graduate/Post Graduate in Computer Science or related streams


- Past Experience ; 0 to 6 years relevant experience preferred


Functional Skills/Capabilities :


- Understanding of Project Management


- Advanced data manipulation techniques


- Understanding of data/modelling/analytics/ETL concepts


- Strong knowledge of SQL is a must


Technical Skills/Capabilities :


- Hive / SQL


- Strong SQL skills
