Job Description: The Global Consumer Services Group (GCSG) is responsible for growing the American Express consumer business in more than 150 countries around the world. GCSG issues proprietary products in 20 countries, and partners with leading banks to issue American Express-branded products in more than 140 countries. Operational Excellence for International Consumer Services (ICS) the 1st line of defense and provide Operational Risk framework advisory and consultation services to the GSCG business. Purpose of the Role: The position of Analyst - Risk and Information Management will be responsible for supporting the GCSG Centre of Excellence (CoE) Team in managing delivery of key business metrics related to the Operational Excellence sphere of work specifically Third Party Lifecycle Management (TLM). The position will be based out of One Horizon Center location in Gurgaon, India. Responsibilities: Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 1. Supporting transactional excellence for ICS CoE 2. Partnering with other 1st/2nd line of defense organizations and key members of the business, who are located across the globe on process wide initiative 3. Support audit related activities and control development, monitor risk levels and produce timely reporting of risk escalations 4. Perform comprehensive analysis (both qualitative and quantitative) and development of dashboard reporting for senior leadership 5. Support ICS Teams through the lifecycle of the TLM Process (from on-boarding of a vendor to periodic reviews, vendor off boarding, gap remediation etc.) Experienced professional in a team member role, well versed in statistical modeling techniques. Nature of work is similar to Analyst 1 but level of supervision is lower. Position requires higher levels of knowledge and skill. Assigned tasks are of low to medium complexity. Qualifications: The individual should be self-motivated and able to thrive in an environment with ad-hoc requests/shifts in direction. Should also have the ability to work collaboratively with the business units in analyzing data to enable the business to mitigate the operational risks identified. Past Experience: - Experience working with audit, compliance, vendor management, operational risk and/or control functions - Self-motivated, team player with ability to handle multiple work streams and ad-hoc tasks simultaneously - Strong collaboration skills and demonstrated ability to network globally - Strong presentation skills, particularly in the development of profession and thoughtful material - Strong communication skills combined with an ability to interact effectively with senior leaders and business partners Strong analytical capabilities with attention to detail - Proven ability to adjust quickly to shifting priorities, multiple demands, ambiguity, and rapid change preferred Academic Background: - A graduate degree in any field is required. However, an MBA or equivalent will be preferred.
