Don-  t live life without it. </p> <br>Function Description: <br><br></div><div><p>The Credit &amp; Fraud Risk (CFR) team helps drive profitable business growth by reducing the risk of fraud and maintaining our customers' confidence in the security of our products. It utilizes an array of tools and ever-evolving technology to detect and combat fraud, minimize the disruption of good spending and provide a world-class customer experience. The team leads efforts that leverage data and digital advancements to improve service and risk management as well as enable commerce and drive innovation.</p><p><br></p><p>CFR is responsible for developing and monitoring statistical models for predicting individual and commercial' behaviors such as credit risk, fraud risk, spending and revolve. These models are used for key business decisions made across the customer life cycle to manage risk and accelerate profitable business growth. Underpinning our growth as a company are the tools and capabilities that ensure we prudently take and manage risk in a viable way </p><p><br></p>Purpose of the Role: <br><br></div><div><p>This position will be responsible for fraud controls, end-to-end for a transactional banking product.  The role will focus on implementing fraud models at key touch points (viz. onboarding, transactions, etc.) to mitigate fraud risk. This includes understanding end to end life cycle, fraud process, platforms, vendor selection, feature generation, models and its applicability and collaborating with partners to implement solutions. </p><p><br></p>The successful applicant will need to have expertise in banking fraud as well as analytical ability to conduct data quality checks, build machine learning models, create features using internal and external data to enhance models and partner with technology colleagues to implement features, models and with business colleagues for rules <br>Responsibilities: <br> <br>- Define requirements to ensure existing modeling solutions and controls are robust and/or develop new modeling solutions <br><br></div><div><p>- Identify any new data sources suitable for banking products that would help mitigate fraud losses </p><div><br></div><p>- Develop new features and conduct analytics to identify and monitor fraud trends </p><div><br></div><p>- Partner with business colleagues to implement solutions to minimize fraud while retaining excellent customer experience </p><div><br></div><p>- Track, communicate and draw insights from the performance of ongoing  initiatives and be on top of fraud KPIs and model metrics via intensive monitoring </p><div><br></div><p>- Responsible for responding to and resolving fraud attacks in real-time basis </p><div><br></div><p>- Build strong relationships with stakeholders across Strategy, Operations, Engineering and Product  among others to turn insights into action </p> <br>Critical Factors to Success: <br><br></div><div><p>- Business Outcomes: Drive Revenue growth and profitability through advanced analytical techniques; Innovation in use of Modeling Techniques and Variable creation </p><div><br></div><p>- Leadership Outcomes: Put enterprise thinking first - connect the role's agenda to enterprise priorities and balance the needs of customers, partners, colleagues; Lead with an external perspective - challenge status quo and bring continuous innovation to our existing offerings while keeping a keen eye on industry/competition</p><div><br></div><p>Minimum Qualifications</p><div><br></div><p>Past Experience:<br></p> <br>- 2-3 years of banking and/or lending experience, across the fraud life cycle, preferably within a regulated banking instruction <br><br></div><div> <p>- Deep domain experience in asset &amp; liability banking products is preferred </p><div><br></div><p>- Experience in Data Science/Machine Learning </p> <br>Academic Background: <br> <br>- Post Graduate in Statistics/Mathematics/Economics/Engineering/Management <br> <br>Functional Skills: <br> <br>- Data Science/Machine Learning/Aritifical Intelligence: Gradient Boosting Machines, Deep Learning, Unsupervised Techniques, Decision Trees <br> <br>Technical Skills: <br> <br>- Analytics &amp; Insights: Advanced Statistical Techniques, Data Correlation, GINI, Concordance, Precision, Recall; Deck Mechanics <br> <br>Knowledge of Platforms: <br> <br>- SAS, SQL, R, Python; Advanced Excel and Powerpoint <br> <br>Behavioural Areas: <br> <br>- Clear and candid communication skills (oral and written) <br><br></div><div> <p>- Attention to detail and high quality execution </p><div><br></div><p>- Analytical, relationship and project management skills for driving large cross functional initiatives in an environment of tight deadlines</p><div><br></div><p>We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
