Position: New Tech Associate
Ambit Capital is seeking an equity research enthusiast to be part of its - New technology- research team in India. Indian tech landscape is broadening from IT services to Software/SaaS, Platforms, Analytics and AdTech/EduTech/FoodTech/FinTech/eCommerce. These developments on a standalone basis will broaden the investible universe for the buy side, while also having disruptive implications for traditional businesses. We hope to create a differentiated and well recognized research franchise in this space.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about the technology space and understanding of business models. A self-starter with strong written and spoken communication skills, who thrives in building or leveraging their network. The ideal candidate would be someone either having worked in a startup environment / consulting Firm/strategy roles.
Skill Sets Required:
- New Tech exposure.
- Strong analytical and quantitative aptitude, keen attention to detail.
- Hands-on knowledge of Excel and Word. Knowledge of Python, R and advanced excel like macros is preferable.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to multi-task and work in a high-pressure environment.

Qualification:
Engineering + MBA preferable
Experience: 2-3 years relevant experience .
