The FinOps (Finance Operations Org) is seeking an IC T&D professional who is creative and passionate training professional to help achieve our vision to provide a world-class Learning experience to our global business partners in support of Amazon's journey to become Earth's most customer-centric company. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Design, develop, deliver, and maintain high-quality and relevant training content to meet the needs of FinOps audiences.

- Evaluate and integrate new concepts, courses, products, and analytics as required from T&D perspective.

- Work with leadership to develop strategic training plans for FinOps and be the long-term liaison to certification programs.

- Drive effective all types of - train the trainer- programs and ensure that these facilitators- knowledge, tools, and mechanisms are kept up to date.

- Devote time and energy to recruiting, hiring, developing, and retaining talent, managing and applying that resource in a prudent and efficient way, and support cross-organizational initiatives related to the areas identified above.

- Monitor in a structured, rigorous and data-driven way, the development needs of our audience and develop programs with defined learning objectives and outcomes.

- Design and deliver leadership development solutions and facilitate learning for senior leaders.

- Measure and assess the impact of leadership development initiatives so that our work and design can improve on an ongoing basis.

- Own the Learning and Development framework- Creation, documentation, execution and measurement structures.

- Work with Operations team / Transitions Teams and Business partners on designing and implementing Learning Path for the new processes.

- Evaluate and measure the effectiveness of development activities in relation to business goals on an ongoing basis.

- Independently manage a portfolio of large complex projects and programs from concept through to pilot and full implementation

- Structure and develop detailed implementation plans and work with Operational Leaders to pilot and test new solutions and then roll-out across the broader organization

- Design and implement communication skills modules (behavioral, grammar, soft skills etc. for Voice and Non-Voice mediums) for new hires as well as existing employees.

- Create and maintain competency-based suite of modules as well as ensure regular upkeep of content.

- Perform TNI and TNA for all skills and develop and deliver appropriate training solutions.

- Identify a regular monitoring process to check the effectiveness of training intervention.

- Develop a suitable proficiency scale and testing mechanism and conduct audits to score associates on the communication content of contacts.

- Deliver a blended learning as well as explore innovative training delivery methods for new hires, new skills (cross-training), continuing education, and refreshers as necessary in the language and soft skills domain. 

- Assimilate training material, bridge gaps between understanding and execution/articulation, and facilitate learning in training by organizing and presenting material in a way that is optimal for the target skill being transferred.

- Design and deliver leadership development solutions and facilitate learning for senior leaders.

- Collaborate with other leadership development practitioners, providing subject matter expertise in areas of content specialties.

Basic Qualifications

BASIC QUALIFICATION

- Graduate with atleast 12+ years' experience in Training and Development.

- Atleast 7+ years leading a mature L&D team in a global organization with high volumes and fast paced environment.

- Excellent organization and project management skills - this will require aggressive planning, organizing and coordinating, negotiating, establishing effective cross-team relationships, prioritization, and delivery against objectives.

- Should be passionate about developing others, and in creating development frameworks that scale. This role requires content development and facilitation expertise.

- Strong project management experience on large scale projects. Lean/ kaizen/ six sigma or similar certifications strongly preferred.

- Technology savvy with ability to interact with external vendors on technical aspects of solutions.

- Master facilitator or presenter with experience developing other senior facilitators and trainers.

- Strong understanding of how adults learn, and develop and adopt new behaviors and mental models - with grounding in behavioral, cognitive and social psychology.

- Direct leadership and management experience, ideally with accountability for a training or consulting operation.

- Experience managing cross geo functional projects and initiatives.

- Experience with designing and developing training for Operations audience

- Able to work both on a team (as member and/or leader) and independently to deliver results.

- Experience with Cornerstone, Thinking Cap or other learning management systems

- Experience in designing, developing and implementing global training programs-including considerations for localization translation needs

Preferred Qualifications 


Preferred:

- Experience in developing and deploying communication and language training modules

- Experience in working on process improvement projects in both voice and non-voice based processes.

- Master's Degree in a related discipline. (HR, T&D, OD etc)

- Subject matter expertise on leading large scale, rapidly growing, highly innovative organizations.

- Understanding of the application of talent development concepts, tools and processes in a business context.

- Familiarity with business, financial and process improvement tools, concepts and methodologies.

- International experience developing leaders, designing and delivering learning solutions in multiple countries and across diverse cultures.

- Coaching and Consulting experience; formal certification a plus.

- Certification from ATD (CPLP or similar) or another subject specializing in HR or Employee Development.

- Experience with using, administering and facilitating survey instruments and assessment tools (eg: FIRO-B, MBTI, PDI etc)

- Experience creating e-learning content using tools such as Storyline, Camtasia, Animation Software and the Adobe Creative Cloud.
