Technical Program Manager - Workplace Health and Safety - Amazon's Workplace Health and Safety organization is changing the way we think about our workplace, so that we can keep our associates healthy and safe. Our team is reinventing the way Amazon anticipates, assesses, and manages workplace hazards and risks. - In this role, you will be responsible for delivery of large-scale, cross-functional, global projects and programs involving different technologies, teams, geographies and time zones. You will be hands on from requirements definition to scoping, work planning, contribution to technical solutions, scheduling, coordinating work and testing across team boundaries to launch timely and successful products and services. - If creating industry-first products excites you, this is the place for you. We are looking for a Technical Program Manager for our work streams in the Data and Sciences space. Key Responsibilities: - Create processes, mechanisms, and tools that shape the delivery of the program. - Manage ambiguity and energize the team to stay focused on short term and long-term goals - Work with engineers, product managers, and other stake holders to develop detailed and creative solutions to complex problems, while keeping a watchful eye on dependencies, timelines and customer experience. - Compute, manage, and drive key metrics that are essential for operational and business level excellence of for all programs, and provide visibility to all stakeholders via well-structured reports. - Earn trust through regular communication with senior management on status, risks and change control. - Be resourceful and find creative solutions to complex technical and organizational challenges. &nbsp; Basic Qualification: - Relevant work experience as a Technical Program Manager - Experience in working with engineering teams to deliver products requiring coordination between hardware, software teams and operations. - Demonstrated experience in project management and coordinating/driving release schedules. - Strong communicator in both verbal and written forms and are equally adept in communicating upwards and downward Preferred Qualifications : - Master's or advanced technical degree. Or, Background in Econometrics - Experience in leading DS and/or AI projects - Background in Safety/Healthcare/Operations - Creative leader with superior analytical abilities - MP and/or SCRUM/Agile or Lean Sigma Six
