- Amazon is seeking a Vendor Manager - Pet Supplies for our Bangalore - India headquarters. We are looking for a smart, enthusiastic, hard-working, and creative candidate to join our team.

- This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on a start-up business team and help create the future of eCommerce.

- The successful candidate will be the business owner, writing a business plan to identify the right selection for a set of subcategories, working with sellers to bring this selection to our platform, and working with the largest national and regional brands to leverage the Amazon platform.

- This role is responsible for working with marketing to determine and drive our category promotions strategy and implement this.

- The role will also monitor and research industry trends globally to make sure that Amazon continues to offer the best experience. The candidate in this role will be responsible for the customer experience, across functions at Amazon, working with our Technology, Operations, Customer Service and Catalog teams to ensure we deliver a superb experience.

- He/she must be an effective leader and communicator working with our most important partners and vendors, as well as with internal colleagues and groups.

- He or she will have strong business judgment with a track record of strong ownership values and relationship management skills.

Eligibility Criteria :

- 6-8 years FMCG industry experience

- Strong academic track record + MBA from IIMs

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Proven negotiation skills, influencing abilities

- Strong numerical and analytical aptitude

- Proven experience leading cross-functional projects

- Ability to think and react in a high-energy, fast-paced environment

- Good organizational skills including prioritizing, scheduling, time management, and meeting deadlines

- Detail-oriented

- Technical aptitude and agility to learn web-based tools

- A passion for pets and knowledge of the industry is highly desired

The ideal candidate will be innovative, team oriented, an effective communicator, have a desire to participate in change and appreciate a dynamic environment with rapidly changing priorities.

We are seeking someone with demonstrated history of successful project ownership and using customer data to identify and prioritize opportunities.

An understanding of and passion for e-commerce is highly desired.
