Amazon - Senior Manager - Marketing - Home & Kitchen Segment (6-12 yrs)

The Consumer Insights and Lifecycle marketing team in Home and Kitchen furthers every customer's online shopping journey by defining shopper lifecycle states, developing paths through these states, and builds experiences that enable customers to migrate to higher states of engagement. Our lifecycle state and migration path framework evaluates customer actions on and off Amazon to better understand how customers engage, and which experiences we should expose them to, at a given point in time.

We are looking to add to our multi-functional team of product, marketing, and business intelligence - a Sr. Marketing Manager who will develop digital marketing strategies to engage customers across various stages of their journey, including new customers, driving repeat rates and reducing lapsers.

- Customer obsession and passion for understanding customer behavior, engagement and growth through data and customer anecdotes

- Ability to synthesize vast and disparate data points to develop key insights, and lead experiments that incentivize target customer segments to shop on Amazon

- Curiosity, and ability to quickly learn, deliver and react to detailed assessment of triggers and barriers for growth in different customer cohorts, and demographic segments

- Ability to coordinate with teams and stakeholders across partner teams to influencer roadmap to deliver result

This is a high visibility role that requires you to bring agile experimentation, data integrity, business maturity to present customer engagement plans to Home and Kitchen senior leadership team and to achieve customer engagement goals for target cohorts.

- Set and achieve goals for customer engagement for new customers and influence driving incremental traffic

- Develop a roadmap of experiments to engage first time shoppers across different cohorts

- Develop and present annualized impact for experiments, and launch successful experiments, eventually converting them into evergreen campaigns

- Develop and publish weekly business and customer insights metrics from on-Amazon shopper behavior

- Evaluate and publish the impact of customer actions to develop strategies for engagement and retention

- Develop and publish insights based on industry and market research to assess gaps in our customer and business segments and identify new product / business initiatives to create a prioritized roadmap of investments

- Identify barriers to engagement including barriers in the core-shopping flow, make actionable recommendations across business, and product experiences to address, and influence action

- Lead monthly leadership reviews with key trends, insights, and actions / strategic initiatives to mitigate risks and further growth

- Develop working backwards documents for customer experiences based on quarterly insights / trends; own a roadmap of key product initiatives that will improve customer engagement and retention across businesses

Basic Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Math or equivalent work experience

- 6+ years of professional experience, with 3+ years of experience in product lifecycle marketing, and 3+ years of experience in working with business analytics

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Demonstrated success in setting and achieving growth and retention targets for customer engagement

- Proven ability to identify, analyze, and solve ambiguous problems independently with an extreme attention to detail

- Demonstrated success in simplifying complexity, and presenting clear unambiguous insights into customer behavior and its impact on the business

- Demonstrated success in earning trust and credibility through presenting and influencing with the right data points and interpretation

- Demonstrated success in holding a high bar for data integrity

Preferred Qualifications :

- MBA or relevant degree

- Understanding of customer psychology / behavioral economics

- Experience working with and influencing senior level stakeholders and demonstrated ability to successfully influence stakeholders without formal authority, leading cross functional teams across geographies and business units
