The individual is expected to help support the business through development of metrics and reporting solutions, data manipulation and in-depth analysis, apart from focusing on market trends and competitor analysis. Role details : As a BIE, you play a leadership role in your team - they look to you for advice on analytical and business issues facing them. You are right, a lot. You get a lot done. As a Senior Business Intelligence Manager, your responsibilities will include : - Interfacing with senior business leaders, gathering requirements and defining project road maps - Identifying, developing, managing and executing analysis to uncover areas of business opportunity - Converting analysis into digestible business intelligence and actionable information - Presenting written recommendations and insights to stakeholders that will help shape effective strategies. - Learning and understanding a broad range of Amazon's data resources and know how, when, and which to use - Continually improving ongoing reporting and analysis, automating or simplifying the processes - Manage high performing team which would include Business Intelligence Engineer, Data Scientist and Business Analyst. Basic Qualifications : - Bachelor's degree in Engineering from a premium institute - Experience in analytics, data science, business intelligence engineer(BIE) or comparable consumer analytics position - Experience in leading analytical teams and experience of planning and implementing analytical and reporting projects in a fast-paced environment - Demonstrated project management skills - Expert skills in Microsoft Excel, SQL, R, Python, Statistical tools, data mining experience. - Working knowledge of Data science tools. - Ability to deal with ambiguity and competing objectives - Top notch communication skills to convey key insights from complex analysis in summarized business terms - Good team player and the ability to work with a wide cross-section of people in various locations - Impeccable attention to detail, passion for processes and systems Preferred Qualifications : - MBA / Master's / Ph.D degree - Experience working within a high-growth technology company - Experience rapidly growing an organization and attracting, hiring and maintaining top talent Amazon is an equal opportunity employer.
