This critical role will work with Category Business Development Managers (CBDM) and Strategic Account Managers (SAM) for Consumables business. - Strategic Account Managers grow business with the largest and most strategic sellers on Amazon.in. We provide high touch, personalized 1:1 interaction between an Account Manager and a Seller that involve a year-long business and risk management consultative model. - Category BDMs define category-specific focus for developing the Marketplace seller business, leads strategic projects and holds responsibility for planning and business reporting. The position is based at the Amazon India headquarters in Bangalore. Role and Responsibilities: - Driving value to customers - Bringing prices down for our customers by finding sellers higher up in the food chain who can offer better value. - Helping sellers create high quality white label in categories, which are dominated by premium head brands and customer does not have credible value alternate. - Increasing Selection - Tapping into China Cross border e-commerce to connect our sellers with credible brands that our customers want however are not available on our marketplace yet. - Expand our selection offering beyond "brands" with a distribution model in India and not covered by our out of country options. - Bringing our Import selection close to our customers - Working with the direct sales team and connecting the import sellers with retailers in Tier II and Tier III cities who can offer same day delivery within the city using our SBR channel. - Get Fit - Reduce returns, rejects and CPU by enforcing higher quality standards on the white label and value brands. This will be done by developing, sharing and auditing quality specs that have to be met by these brands - Drive traffic to the white labels through SP spend, which also drives revenue for us. - Business Reporting - Provide financial planning inputs - Analyze the business to understand trends, shifts, spikes/dips etc. Basic qualifications : - MBA or equivalent, with at least 4 years of experience in Sales/Account management, sourcing or retail. - High attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Familiarity with Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel. Preferred qualifications - - Work experience in consumer product sales/marketing or in e-commerce. - Experience in developing sourcing for an consumer goods business.
