Sr. Analyst - Transfer Pricing

Amazon is seeking a Senior Analyst - Transfer Pricing candidate to join the Tax Department based in India to focus on supporting Amazon's international related party transactions within India. The candidate should have significant transfer pricing experience and be comfortable directly liaising with various business teams within the company and with other members of the global tax department. Amazon's transfer pricing group deals with all aspects of the company's global intercompany arrangements. This includes developing, executing and maintaining the company's inter-company transfer pricing policies, collecting and gathering data & information, analyzing & setting arm- s-length prices, preparing transfer pricing documentation reports, assisting with audits and Advance Pricing Agreements, analyzing business and planning strategies, M&A integration, and managing & working with outside advisers.

Basic Qualifications

- 4+ years of experience

- Bachelor's degree required, preferred in Economics, Finance, Accounting or related field

- Must have experience applying & implementing International Transfer Pricing Laws, Regulations and Guidelines

- Advanced analytical and computer skills, including proficiency in Excel and Word

Preferred Qualifications

- Advanced degree, such as a MA/MS, MBA, or PhD preferred

- Public accounting, consulting and/or multinational corporation experience preferred

- Strong understanding of accounting and economic concepts

- Excellent analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills

- Ability to extract, analyze, and review data and make appropriate recommendations

- Detail-oriented individual who is self-motivated and takes ownership of projects

- Hard working, quick learner with a positive ''can do'' attitude and solid professionalism

- Work effectively in a team environment and partner well with people at all levels within an organization

- Able to work in a dynamic, fast paced, informal, often ambiguous and rapidly changing business environment

- Effective and fluent verbal & written communication skills
