Amazon - Regional Manager - Inventory Control & Quality Assurance (6-10 yrs)
Guide and develop site ICQA leads on standard ICQA practices and policies
- Ensure ICQA systems and processes are established in regional sites in full compliance to global standards and policies
- Closely co-ordinate with global network and ensure that sites in the region support with prompt responses and feedbacks on new tool testing/ process change validations
- Ensure that the regional sites fully comply to global ICQA policies; Sox compliance
- Periodically review Bin health strategy - work with site ICQA in effectiveness reviews and calibration of site strategy according to findings
- Monitor activity on network sensitive tools and permissions for these in close co-ordination of Learning & Development
- Periodic review and calibration of sites- Inventory adjustment reduction program with respective site ICQA managers and site-heads
- Set Quality Goals for sites in the region
- Work closely with sites and revisit site QA plan if the site QA results exceed network thresholds
Co-ordinate with ICQA software in getting any system related issues resolved
Bachelor's degree, (preferably BE/ B.Tech) with 10-12 years of experience in Quality Assurance or Operations OR MBA with 6-8 years of experience in QA/ Operations
Industry desired :
- Relevant Inventory Management experience in Retail Industry or Tier 1-2 Automotive-component or Auto Industry, Engineering industry
- Should have experience of multiple root cause analyses and implementing Kaizens
Should have demonstrated substantial improvement in Quality
- Strong analytical, math, data analysis, listening & communication skills
- Strong cross-functional team management skills
- Experience in analyzing shop-floor processes and trends and recommending improvements
Familiarity with Lean concepts, Kaizens, Control Plan, FMEA and poka-yoke
