Amazon Vision Operations Center (AVOC) seeks to complement automated vision based decision-making technologies by providing remote human support for the subset of tasks which require higher cognitive ability and cannot be processed through automated decision making with high confidence. This team provides end-to-end solutions through inbuilt competencies of operations and specialized central teams to deliver programs at Amazon scale. AVOC is operating multiple programs including TRON, VBI, Proxemics and other new initiatives, in partnership with global technology and operations teams. As a Quality Manager II at AVOC, you will lead a part of the QA team on quality operations across multiple programs and drive improvement in quality and customer experience. You will interact directly with Amazon internal customers in a global team to streamline QA processes, onboard new QA programs, manage changes and ensure high quality &amp; service level adherence. Key Responsibilities: - Facilitates the execution of the QA strategy through leadership, operations teams and support teams - Introduces new systems and procedures that drive defect identification and reduction - Verifies quality metrics in place and triggers containment actions and corrective actions as necessary - Communicates across all levels on quality operations and programs progress - Leads root cause analysis and error trend analysis, and provides focused feedback to teams - Manages and develops a high performing Quality team that meets agreed objectives and enables continuous improvements Basic qualifications : - Bachelor's/Master's degree in engineering, science, mathematics or statistics - Minimum 4 years experience working in a quality assurance and/or quality improvement - Minimum 2 years experience in leading and managing a team - Strong stakeholder management skills with ability to present findings and enable improvement across groups - Strong analytical ability and problem solving skills - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Ability to perform simple data mining through SQL Preferred qualifications : - Experience in implementation of Quality Management System (QMS) - Six Sigma Green Belt certification
