About the role :

- Amazon DSP (Demand Side Platform) is a key component of our display advertising portfolio and is poised to be a large contributor to the overall advertising business. Amazon DSP is a key lever for advertisers to drive visibility and performance for their products and services both on and off Amazon.in.

- We are looking for a hands-on, detail-oriented, analytical, and highly-motivated Program Manager, to help scale the Amazon DSP offering across the programmatic media landscape in India. This role will be contribute to defining and executing the strategy for driving adoption of the offering and building a sustainable business. You will work with the sales, product and other Amazon business partners to manage train, set processes and best practices to deliver positive return on investment for our emerging and growing advertisers.

- We are seeking a program manager to support clients on the Amazon DSP. This role is perfectly situated between sales and product, and best suited to those who can operate across fields. This team is responsible for managing the end to end experience of external customers namely holding companies, independent agencies, trading desks, and direct clients that have chosen to use the Amazon DSP and support internal teams adopt the product. The overarching goal is to empower customers to achieve success by providing best-in-class consultancy, training, operational expertise and troubleshooting. This role is at the cutting-edge of programmatic expertise, solving client challenges with Amazon and the industries best ad technology.

- To do this, this person needs to be extremely hands on, have a deep understanding of Amazon's display advertising products, technical/operational capabilities, as well as the ability to synthesize analysis into a concise and compelling presentation. In addition to working closely with other client facing teams, this person will interact with product development, finance, legal, business teams, advertising agencies and clients.

Responsibilities :

- Own the relationship with clients and provide high-touch proactive support such as on-boarding, educating, providing continuous product usage consultation, and staying up to date with industry best practices to ensure client success.

- Define priorities for campaign management and optimization initiatives based on deep knowledge of the industry, its competitive landscape and key business issues.

- Navigate multiple stakeholders; bridge organizational and structural gaps with a focus on customer results and satisfaction.

- Help drive evolution of Amazon DSP into a client friendly tool via ongoing client feedback loop and close collaboration with cross functional Amazon teams (Product Management, Engineering, Analytics, and Specialists)

- Serve as the primary point of contact for technical issues; will communicate, triage, and manage open tickets to resolution.

- Define and improve processes and tools for the account managers in the client success team to serve advertisers better

- Design and deliver performance updates, business reviews and growth opportunity presentations

- Travel to accounts as needed (25-35%)

Basic qualifications : 

- 5+ years of proven experience in a client facing consultative role working

- Strong writing and communication skills

- Proficiency in MS Office; experience with data analysis in Excel, including advanced functions

- Analytical, data-driven approach to problem solving and a track record of driving results through continuous improvement and operations excellence programs

- Ability to work cross-functionally and with a wide range of employees with different skill sets

- Sound judgment and flexibility in balancing program requirements, tight deadlines, and keeping people and projects moving on schedule

Preferred qualifications :

- MBA from a top tier institute

- DSP/RTB/Ad Network experience - Experience in media planning and understanding of programmatic media, ad serving, cross-channel attribution, and media analytics

- Extensive knowledge of digital media systems and tools

- Strong project management & analytical skills
