Amazon India is looking for a Program Manager to drive business growth in India. The candidate will be responsible for identification and growth of new ideas, developing and implementing Program strategy. The Program Manager will be responsible for defining a program roadmap and requirements for the platform.

The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about managing challenging, lengthy projects across multiple teams. We are looking for Program Manager who shares Amazon's passion for the customer-someone who understands the importance of compelling programs that create an overall customer (seller and buyer) experience.

S/he will have credibility with leadership and will be able to work in a fast-paced environment, creatively solve complex issues; in addition, the candidate will thrive in working with large data warehouse environments, has excellent verbal and written communication skills and is motivated by developing innovative and simplified solutions to help grow selection on platform.

Key job responsibilities :

- Own end-to-end responsibility for key selection metrics, maintaining the health and represent the performance across different forums.

- Deep dive into escalations, partner with different teams to ensure corrective actions are identified and undertaken and closing loop with leadership.

- Identify new opportunities to arrest selection whitespaces, improve efficiency and reduce business waste by using data analysis. Design, launch and execute programs to improve selection.

- Scoping, driving and delivering complex, medium to large-scale projects. You will define clear milestones, set the expectations of stakeholders effectively. You will always make the right trade-off between schedule, resources and scope in order to get the job done within time and budget.

- Writing strong, well-structured and detail-oriented business proposals.

- Influencing and communicating ideas effectively (both verbally and in writing), within and outside your team - also knowing when to ask for help. You'll have experience successfully presenting ideas and reports to management.

Keys to success in this role include exceptional program management, strong communication and collaboration skills, and analytic skills. The candidate needs to be able to coordinate across multiple work streams, use data to build strong business arguments and be able to communicate clearly appropriate triggers and actions.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

- 3+ years experience in program or project management

- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements

- 3+ years experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams

- Strong data extraction, analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to work with large, complex data sets and familiarity with statistics or other analytical techniques; excel and SQL skills are required.

- Proven ability to influence others, facilitate agreement among stakeholders with different interests

- Highly proficient in written and oral communications; able to produce concise, relevant, strategically-driven documents and presentations across all levels of leadership

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- MBA/Master's degree from reputed institute

- Excellent business judgment, strong written and oral communication skills,

- Willingness to "roll up sleeves and do what needs to get done" to consistently deliver results

- Insists on highest standards- drives team and partners to deliver high quality products and scalable processes.

- Focusses on automation to build scalable processes.
