Amazon - Manager - Prime Analytics (5-8 yrs)

- Amazon Prime is a program that provides millions of members with unlimited one-day delivery, unlimited streaming of video and music, secure online photo storage, access to kindle e-books as well as Prime special deals on Prime Day. In India, Prime members get unlimited free One-Day and Two-day delivery, video streaming and early and exclusive access to deals. After the launch in 2016, the Amazon Prime team is now looking for a detailed oriented business analyst to lead the business analytics for Prime and drive member insights.

- We require a Customer Insights Analyst who will help us make effective decisions based on data from multiple sources, compiling it and triangulating it into a digestible and actionable format. This individual will analyze large amounts of data, discover and solve real world problems and build metrics and business cases around key performance of this program. The ideal candidate will use a customer backwards approach in deriving insights and identifying actions we can take to improve the customer experience and conversion for the program.

Main Responsibility includes:

- Create and evolve member segmentation and develop primary and secondary insights that can be used to drive product development and optimize ongoing programs, marketing campaigns

- Provide data and analytics to marketing team for campaigns, create bulls-eye reports and provide campaign level metrics to measure efficiency

- Build scale-able and self-service analytical approaches that can be used by the marketing team for analyzing the impact of on-going marketing programs

- Manage ad hoc projects, as well as define and deliver ongoing dashboards, reports & IN first metrics to provide actionable insights to inform marketing strategy

- Review marketing research design, interpret research results data and communicate actionable recommendations across all levels of the organization

- Leverage internal and external resources to support analysis from qualitative and quantitative research

- Support cross-functional teams on day-to-day execution and long-term expansion of the program

Basic Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree/PG in Business Administration, Finance, Computer Information Systems, Engineering, Operations Research, Mathematics or other business/analytical disciplines

- 5+ years of relevant professional experience as a Business Analyst, Data Analyst or comparable consumer analytics position

- Proven analytical and quantitative skills and an ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions, develop business cases, and complete root cause analyses

- Strong proficiency in SQL, Microsoft Excel and statistical analysis tools

- Ability to handle multiple competing priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment

- Working knowledge of data mining using SQL, ETL, data warehouse as well as Excel and Visualization through Tableau

Preferred Qualifications : 

- 5+ years of relevant experience in a business analyst/data analyst/statistical analysis role.- Ability to deal with ambiguity

- Understanding of data warehousing, data modeling concept and building new DW tables

- Communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills and an ability to communicate with both business and technical teams.

- Problem solving skills, project management skills, attention to detail, and organizational skills

- Ability to deal with ambiguity and competing objectives in a fast paced environment
