Business Development Manager - Sales, Amazon Business Advisory.

We are looking for a hands-on, detail oriented and highly motivated Business Development Manager to help in seller acquisition and service adoption on the Amazon.in marketplace, for the Amazon Business Advisory (ABA) service. ABA aims at providing Account Management services to sellers on Amazon.in, for a monthly consultation fee, covering inputs on how the sellers can grow their business on Amazon.in marketplace.

Some of the key levers used to help achieve this objective are driving better selection (via cross-category diversification opportunities and/ or leveraging current selection via multiple Fulfillment channels for increased sales conversion), discoverability, quality, and improving operational performance. The candidate would need to actively collaborate with other stakeholders like Category BDMs, Finance, Product and Advertising in identifying high potential leads to acquire.

The position is based at the Amazon India headquarters in Bangalore.

Role and Responsibilities:

- Prospect and acquire medium to large sellers for adopting Amazon Business Advisory services.

- Identify growth drivers and ensure sellers who enroll attain benefits from the program

- Maintain a robust sales pipeline.

- Liaison with other teams including Sales, Category Business Development Managers, Finance and Advertising for prospecting high potential leads, for acquisition.

- Represent the 3P categories that fall under your purview, at the ABA service review meetings.

- Conduct weekly meetings to analyze trends, shifts, spikes/dips for the account managers' portfolios.

Basic Qualifications:

- MBA or equivalent post-graduation, with at least three years of experience in Sales or Account management.

- Experience in a highly analytical, results-oriented environment with external customer interaction required.

- Proven analytical skills and demonstrated ability to manage the business "by the numbers". Must be metrics-driven.

- Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills and the ability to express thoughts logically and succinctly.

- Demonstrated active listening skills, highly consultative and solutions-oriented.

Preferred Qualifications:

Work experience in consumer product sales/marketing or in e-commerce.

Prior experience influencing C-level executives.
