The Role: - Build an operations setup which scales to hundreds of partners, millions of customers and merchants and billions of transactions. - Design and scale Amazon Pay Backend Operations across business lines, payment instruments and products - Leverage technology as well as internal (and external when needed) product solutions to achieve this scale through automation and defect elimination - Drive Robotic Process Automation Program - Manage Campaign setup, reconciliation and billing/recovery for external dues - Manage customer and merchant on-boarding operations including KYC operations for Amazon Pay and partners nationally - Manage financial and transaction reconciliation for regulated accounts in Amazon across Escrow, and Nodal accounts - Manage partner evaluation, on-boarding, commercial negotiations, service levels. - Monitor 24x7 payment success rates across banks, partners and merchants and continually improve the same through operational initiatives - Manage the Printing and dispatch process for Amazon pay collateral across gift cards, QR codes etc - Drive a Six Sigma and digital culture across the team including continuous improvement programs to keep raising the bar of customer experience and efficiency. - Manage cross functional stakeholders across Tech, Product, Business, Risk, Compliance, Legal - Manage external stakeholders across Banks, processors and Networks. - 13+ years of experience in managing large teams with geographically distributed - MBA from a Premier institute / Chartered accountant - Experience in on-boarding and management of external agencies - Demonstrated ability to engage and influence diverse teams without authority - Hands-on experience developing and driving programs or projects with tight schedules and multiple dependencies - Prior experience of working with technology teams on design and instrumentation of technology solutions - Strong analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations, and drive actions - Understanding of operational risk and an ability to develop solutions mitigating the same - Good communication and interpersonal skills. - Basic understanding of financial accounting - Experience in dealing with re engineering (Six Sigma) - Knowledge of Banking processes like settlement processes and payment nuances - Large Team Management.
