Compliance Operations (C-Ops) is the operational arm of the organization. C-Ops partners with worldwide program teams to classify products and ensure Amazon's product listings follow regulatory and legal compliance guidelines.&nbsp; - C-Ops supports regulatory compliance requirements for Amazon's worldwide programs such as Restricted Products, Dangerous Goods, Global Trade Services, Product Assurance, Food Safety and Product Safety. C-Ops has offices across India, China, Poland, Romania, Netherlands, Jordan, and Costa Rica and supports compliance related needs for worldwide Amazon marketplaces. Key responsibilities : - This is a leadership role where the person needs to be a thought leader, work directly with Worldwide (WW) teams, lead WW program initiatives and lead the Analytics function that would support strategic business initiatives. The role would need some technical expertise and product knowledge to steer the Analytics team and build capabilities around creating reports / dashboards, data engineering, backend pipeline building, machine learning and small scale automation. - The person needs to work with WW Operations team, Program teams, Finance and technology partners to develop and define key business questions, onboard new datasets, and analyze the data to provide meaningful insights to answer these questions. - This leader will have ownership of building scalable business intelligence solutions to drive detailed analysis and support key business decisions. In collaboration with DEs and BIEs, this leader will build tools and support systems needed to dive deep into operational metrics and data. You are the ideal candidate if you are deeply passionate about complex and interesting data and business problems. - The ideal candidate possesses a strong background (12+ years) in project / program management or operational leadership experience - Experience of managing operations/analytics at a senior level in manufacturing, production, distribution / logistics or services industry where person should have been managing multi-site locations. - Goal driven, target oriented, able to step back and look at the bigger picture, the person will also be able to manage ambiguity with their sleeves rolled up, and possess a preparedness to get involved. - Demonstrate strong track record of team leadership within a large scale rapid and process driven environment - must have end to end process management experience. - Lead a team of business intelligence engineers and business analysts. Offer insight on performance of key metrics in the compliance and sustainability space - Design and build self-service tools/products that will enable operations leaders/managers to effectively track and improve the health of the business - Support weekly, monthly and quarterly business reviews that utilize the highest standards of analytical rigor and data integrity - Ability to work with multiple stakeholder and Tech teams to get required technology/infrastructure developed to improve process efficiency and quality - Candidate with good exposure in setting up operations, hiring, scaling and managing large teams, and process improvement. - Drive continuous improvements, Lean thinking and Kaizen in the team. - Strong problem-solving skills and the abilities to analyze quantitatively, scope technical requirements and effectively prioritize program deliverables are essential - Leadership with demonstrated skills in people management, operations management and delivering results Basic Qualifications - Bachelor/Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or related field. - Working knowledge of data scripting languages (e.g. SQL, Python, R etc). Experience with data visualization software such as Tableau, Amazon Quicksight. - The incumbent should be comfortable communicating with technical as well as non-technical audience. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to create compelling positioning/messaging strategy and present complex information clearly and concisely - 12+ years of experience leading and scaling analytics offering in a fast-paced environment (ideally in mid or large-sized companies), - Ability to think strategically to define the analytics vision, and tactically to drive execution. Ability to build strategy and execute it with speed and drive continuous improvements Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze quantitatively and effectively prioritize program deliverables are essential - Experience building internal and external customer relationships. Ability to influence key stakeholders, and work effectively with cross-functional teams, Experience in program, and/or project management in leading cross-functional teams in delivery of major new products or services in e-commerce, retail, supply chain, internet products or related fields - Demonstrated skills in employee development, performance management and delivering results.
