Job summary Alexa is Amazon's groundbreaking virtual assistant designed for voice interactions. We believe voice is the most natural interface for interacting with technology across many domains. We are looking for a Business Analyst to perform dive-deep analytics on quality, engagement and monetisation for the open-domain Q&A product on Alexa. You will be part of our Global Alexa AI, and help us create maintain business metrics to inform our opportunities. In this role, you will own the help us accelerate our efforts in supporting an evolving and growing Alexa business outside on US. This person will help our business stakeholders in generating actionable insights to help them make better business decisions by means of robust reporting and interactive visualisations. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast paced environment and communicate their analysis effectively to stakeholders. Key job responsibilities The primary responsibilities of this role include: - Communicate with stakeholders in timely manner to get business requirements, and provide visibility of project status and deliverables. - Gain in-depth knowledge of how the Alexa business operates and effectively convert business problems into data requirements. - Use for data exploration and write queries to help with reporting requirements - Build interactive visualisations to help provide stakeholders gain insights into data BASIC QUALIFICATIONS - Bachelor's degree - 4+ years' experience in a role requiring application of analytic skills in a business analyst, data analyst or statistical analyst role - 4+ years' experience developing requirements and creating requirements documents and process flows PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - 5+ years' experience in a business analyst, data analyst or statistical analyst role - Master's Degree or Master's in Business Administration (MBA) - Advance proficiency - experience writing complex statements and ability to manipulate a massive amount of data, creating dashboards/on demand reports - 2+ years of experience with business intelligence and data visualisation tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI, Quicksight) - 2+ years of experience with a modern programming language (e.g., Ruby, Python, etc.) - Proficiency in and advanced proficiency in Excel (including Pivot Tables, array functions, Power Pivots, etc.)
