Amazon - Business Analyst (3-7 yrs)

Our mission is to Transform the way India buys & sells by enabling any seller, brand or manufacturer, with genuine products to start and sustainably grow their business on Amazon. We are now entering the next phase of Seller Acquisition and success to enable Next 1MM Sellers to start their journey on Amazon.

Majority of sellers from TierII+ cities do not use English as their first language, are not active users of Email and do not have existing tax registrations that are needed to sell online. We will need to invent our approach to acquire these sellers with double down on further simplifying onboarding experiences by personalizing their experiences based on category, location and seller profile.

The candidate for the role of Senior Business Analyst for will need to work closely with all teams across Seller Lifecycle and derive insights which helps the stakeholders to take right decisions to improve the experience of Sellers on Amazon.

Basic qualifications

- 3+ years relevant experience in financial/business analysis

- Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights

- Experience making business recommendations and influencing stakeholders

- Experience with SQL

- Experience in Excel

Preferred qualifications:

- B.E /B.Tech or a bachelor's degree at a well-regarded institution in an analytical field (e.g. Economics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or Finance.

- 4+ years relevant experience in financial/business analysis

- Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights

- Experience making business recommendations and influencing stakeholders

- Experience with data mining tools SQL ,SAS, SPSS and proficiency in Excel

- Experience in a highly analytical, results-oriented environment with external customer interaction.

- Proven analytical skills and demonstrated ability to manage the business "by the numbers".

- Proven experience in identifying opportunities for business improvement, and defining and measuring the success of those initiatives.

- Experience of working in projects specific to customer lifecycle modelling, customer attrition management etc.
