Amara Raja Group - Lead - Compensation & Benefits (5-10 yrs)
- Researching best practices, understanding internal business and employee needs/motives, evaluating and implementing appealing Compensation/benefits, and tailoring rewards and recognition programs based on changing needs.
- Assist Manager C&B and Group Head HR to drive the compensation review cycles across business verticals, the data model for framework-level options, Cost workings, dissemination of guidelines for divisions/business units, communication design, and closure of the cycle
- Construct and deconstruct the Rewards philosophy from time to time based on the changing needs. Evaluate and report the effectiveness of compensation practices in the Group and recommend changes in a continual manner
- Along with Manager -C&B, collaboratively work with Business HR leaders and Business leaders for the overall design, implementation, communication, and administration of the organization's compensation and benefits programs.
- Manage Group-wide compensation processes including implementation of business-wise/sector-specific C&B practice
- Manage post-increment activities like creating slide decks, post-increment analysis, etc
- Participate and anchor C&B surveys from time to time locally and globally, share salary information analysis, and provide proposals.
- Analyze market benchmarking to ensure external competitiveness, internal equity
- Monitor market conditions and government regulations to ensure that the organization Compensation and benefits are contemporary and competitive
- Design pay-for-performance/position/potential plans, which include guidelines for bonuses and incentive pay
- Review and propose changes as required on the overall organization employee benefits program covering retirement plans, leave policies, wellness programs, and insurance policies
- PG in HR or equivalent with training/qualification in Data science is preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of work experience in C&B practice.
- Working Knowledge on administering compensation & benefits outside India. Knowledge of Comp & Ben practices in APAC/across the world. Knowledge of Salary Taxation/Individual Income Tax in India & Outside India. Experience in performance appraisal cycle at medium/large firms.
