AM/Manager/Sr Manager - Financial Accounting Advisory Services - CA/CPA/ACCA

We have an opportunity in one of the leading big fours for the profile of Financial Accounting Advisory Services(FAAS) for AM/MANAGER/SR.MANAGER Level.

The person should have previous/current working experience in any leading consulting firm.

The AM/Manager/Sr.Manager should have extensive experience in Financial Accounting Advisory Services. She/he is also expected to display a high level of technical knowledge in US GAAP and/or IFRS.

While the AM/Manager/Sr.Manager will be based out of our Gurgaon or Bangalore office, she/he will be required to travel to other countries (short to medium term) for executing on client engagements.

Your client responsibilities:

- Lead client service teams to execute following FAAS solutions

- Financial Accounting and Reporting Excellence

- Accounting Processes

- Regulation, Governance and Financing

- Audit remediation and readiness

- Organizing and providing technical training

- Addressing service delivery quality issues if and when they occur

Manage and develop people:

- Lead a team of Assistant Managers and Seniors and make sure the team delivers high quality work, per their Global methodology, on time and to budget

- Conduct FAAS team performance reviews, serve as a positive leader and mentor, and contribute to the team performance

- Identify development opportunities and training needs for high performing AM/Seniors

Manage business and clients

- Actively support the Americas or EMEIA FAAS leadership both in terms of growth as well as quality initiatives

- Enhance relationships with global teams and leverage connections to identify opportunities for work at the GTH

Technical skills requirements:

- Chartered Accountant (CA) or CPA (US) or ACCA (UK)

- 4-5yrs for AM/7-9yrs for Manager/10-12yrs for Sr.Manager years (post qualification) in auditing or finance controllership roles including at least 2 years of Financial Accounting and Advisory experience

- Expert Knowledge of IFRS/US/UK GAAP and International auditing standards.

- Knowledge of Indian accounting and auditing standards.

- Extensive working experience in relation to the following services/solutions:

- GAAP conversions and implementation of new accounting standards

- Drafting and designing accounting policies

- Technical accounting research and advice

- Consolidation and Compilation support

- Financial statement close process support

- Transaction accounting and reporting - IPO's, Carve Outs, PPA etc

- Audit remediation and readiness

- Benchmarking services and market analysis

- Advanced data analytics (will be an added advantage)

- Industry Sector specialization will be an added advantage

- International work experience will have added advantage
