About IFRS, Ind-AS and Technical Group

IFRS, Ind-AS (IFRS converged standards to be applied in India) and India GAAP technical group of S.R. Batliboi (the group) is headed by Dolphy D- Souza. Dolphy is a leading figure in the accounting profession, and expert on IFRS, Ind-AS and Indian GAAP. He is a partner and National leader IFRS in S.R. Batliboi (the firm) and also heads the firm's Assurance technical directorate. Dolphy was a member of the high powered IFRS convergence core group constituted by the MCA, SEBI Committee on Disclosures and Accounting Standards (SCODA) and IFRS convergence committee of the ICAI. He is also a member of the IFRS Policy Committee constituted by the Ernst & Young Global (EYG).

The technical group is to Assurance practice what a brain is to the human body. It supports the Assurance practice by providing risk management, technical consultation, knowledge management and thought leadership on all aspects of IFRS, Ind-AS and Indian GAAP.
