Firm provides a Single window compliance service to Indian MNCs having overseas branches / subsidiaries.

i. Research and development

As a Compliance Subject Matter Expert, you will be responsible for developing the Compliance Universe for countries in which our clients operate and translating that understanding into robust delivery processes. The role involves significant technical research.

You will also work closely with Firm's overseas associate firms and staying up to date with the changes in legislation and compliance requirements in the respective countries.

This will involve,

- Research

a. Statutory compliance requirements of different countries

b. GST / VAT in different countries

c. Income tax laws of different countries

d. Corporate compliances (Secretarial)

e. Nature of services rendered by Professional firms in different countries with respect to local compliances

- Setting up new process

a. Preparation of Compliance Universe for Client companies in different countries

b. Concept and design for setting up new process to implement compliance activities

c. Preparing detailed process maps / manuals after understanding client circumstances and compliance universe relevant for the Client company

d. Process Migrations

e. Stabilizing and monitoring the process

ii. Training and Development of team

Manage a team of research assistants and be responsible for their performance and research outcomes. This includes training team members on the technical aspects of compliance and how to deliver the compliance on an ongoing basis

iii. Project Management

Work closely with clients to understand their business and operating model in each country, and act as the Client Service Manager for multiple clients and will be responsible for holding

it conceptually and operationally. Broadly this includes:

a. Project Management during set up phase, for multiple clients

b. Oversee deliverables

c. Process efficiency

d. Supervise team

e. Liaison with client

iv. Planning and Advisory

In many cases, the client engages us to advise them on the outbound investment strategy, registrations and other statutory compliances for setting - up an overseas entity, and the ongoing recurring compliances for the new entity overseas. You will work with the client by developing a framework to assist them in their international expansion activities.
