Assistant Manager– Commercial Recovery

Purpose of Department:

- Its primary purpose will be debt recovery from UK based commercial customers.

This work will include:

- Instructing and monitoring litigation action through company's solicitor firms to expedite money collection against defaulting customers.

- Direct negotiation with delinquent borrowers/guarantors for debt repayment

- Supervising company insolvencies (liquidations and administrations) to maximise dividends

Job Description:

Full Time Employee

The job holder will be responsible for:

- Handling approximately 180 relationships of SME (Small & Medium Enterprise) & personal accounts.

- Instructing and monitoring litigation action against debtors/guarantors/companies through our solicitors.

- Maintaining regular correspondence with debtors/guarantors to reduce turnaround time for repayments.

- Negotiating with the debtor/guarantor for debt repayment.

- Supervising company insolvencies (liquidations & administrations) to maximize dividends.

Skills/Experience Required:

- Commerce graduates/Fresh Law graduates/MBA or equivalent may only apply.

- Candidates undergoing MBA are also eligible.

- Prior experience of at least 1 year into Retail / Corporate / SME collection is preferable.

- Candidate should have strong communication skills both verbal and written.

- Knowledge about insolvencies, bankruptcies, Individual Voluntary Arrangements, company administrations or liquidations etc in UK would be preferred.

- Candidate should have prior knowledge of repossession and money judgment proceedings in UK.

- Candidate should be willing to work on strict deadlines and should be an excellent team player
