- You will lead a Product Engineering team from ground up responsible for shaping our unique insights through a technology driven product that meets all the industry standard(s), customer expectation(s) and requirement(s).

- You will also be a key member of the leadership team, with aspirations to build a company, and creating impact by solving one of the largest problems we face today, climate change.

Overview :

- Altier was founded to accelerate Indias transition to clean energy by delivering access to finance for renewable energy projects in South Asia and beyond. The Altier fin-tech platform targets enterprises seeking to transition to sustainable energy and connects them with capital to fund their renewable energy transition.

- We are an early-stage company with three co-founders who are experts in the Industry and passionate about addressing climate change. Our beta product has been launched and we are a revenue positive company now seeking to scale our platform.

The Role :

- As CTO of the company, you will be responsible to design, architect and oversee building of the technology platform for all aspects of the renewable energy project funding - from customer facing application, automated decision making, 3rd party API integration, loan lifecycle management, credit scoring, data driven models to scale and adapt to the changing requirements. The job provides opportunities to:

- Direct strategic technical vision for the company and anticipate, plan and act on shifts in technology

- Own the product roadmap and be responsible for quality driven execution, innovation, and continuous learning.

- Evaluate and identify appropriate technology platforms (including web application frameworks and the deployment stack)

- Help estimate, plan and execute on projects, features, and integrations

Qualifications :

We are looking for the following competencies and qualifications in a candidate :

- 10+ years of professional technology experience - preferably with experience throughout the product lifecycle, from initial design to final product delivery.

- Successful experience with developing products from concept to in-market launch.

- Experience developing, debugging, and shipping Complex Products

- Significant mobile/web architecture experience with proven in market deployment experience (and maintenance)

- A proven track record of leadership in areas of technology and product

- Direct responsibility of a team of engineers and other technologists

- Automate: A vision for applying software engineering skills and experiences to automate all aspects of the operational delivery and management process from build/test/deploy, monitoring and alerting, to automatic failover and capacity management.

A true business partnership with significant equity is on offer. Initially, the compensation will primarily be in the form of equity with increasing salary as we hit our business milestones and bring in institutional funding.
