Role Overview:

- As the Finance Controller, you will be a key member of the leadership team, overseeing all financial operations and ensuring the companys financial health. You will play a pivotal role in strategic decision-making, driving financial efficiency, and maintaining robust financial controls as we scale our impact in the CO removal industry.

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Finance Controller (CA) to contribute to our vision of a carbon-neutral world.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and manage budgets in alignment with company strategy.

- Provide cash flow forecasts and scenario planning for growth.

- Ensure cost efficiency while scaling operations.

- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

- Ensure compliance with tax regulations, audits, and investor reporting.

- Handle due diligence requests from investors and board members, managing audits and financial due diligence.

- Establish and maintain financial processes, ensuring accuracy in reporting.

- Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and cash flow management.

- Implement internal controls to prevent fraud and ensure compliance.

- Manage investor communications related to financial health.

- Track and report key metrics like burn rate, runway, and revenue growth.

- Optimize capital allocation across different functions (R&D, marketing, hiring).

- Handle filings related to GST, income tax, and company law compliance.

Qualifications & Experience:

- Chartered Accountant (CA) certification is mandatory.

- 8-10 years of experience as a Finance Controller, Financial Manager, or similar role in a startup environment.

- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting standards.

- Proficiency in financial management software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Tally).

- Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.

- Strong leadership and communication abilities.
