Roles and Responsibilities :

- Driving category growth and market share with strong product/consumer analytics

- Understanding the consumer, market trends, competitor activity, mining insights from data and translating them into lucrative business opportunities

- Procurement of vendor services while ensuring end to end category development

- Planning new range with No. of SKUs/ pricing / inventory /Timelines/ P&L statement

- New product search and increasing the no. of SKUs in the particular category

- Follow up with the support team for getting products live and ensuring that products are live with proper description and photos

- Working with Customer Support Manager to identify which products /categories working best and identifying opportunities for improvement

- Responsible for merchandising, cataloguing management, discount monitoring and leading sale events

- Actively work with the Marketing team to track and ensure effectiveness of campaigns/properties

- Coordinate with marketing, supply chain, product development, finance, tech and other functions of the organization

The Ideal Person :

- 2+ years of business or category management experience in consumer commerce and retail

- Strong business acumen, analytical skills, data-driven, and P&L focused decision making

- Excellent analytical and negotiation skills are required

- Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills

- Ability to translate strategies into execution plans and take them to completion

- Ability to roll up their sleeves and get work done

- Ability to think and react in a high-energy, fast-paced dynamic environment

- B.tech from a top tier college a must

- Ideally having handled category management at healthcare start-ups
