Job Description: We are looking for self-driven individuals who are confident of their capability to deliver and are seeking long term wealth creation. COOs goal will be to secure efficient functionality of all businesses of the group, across Commodities, Equities, Derivatives, Credit and Quantitative strategies, towards extensive and sustainable growth. The person shall be responsible for: - Running and overseeing overall organizations processes across operations, systems, technology, compliance, admin, etc; - Identifying innovative technology solutions that will help the organization scale effectively, and overseeing the implementation of these solutions; - Ensuring all regulatory compliances and establishing strong relationships with regulatory bodies like SEBI and RBI; - Oversee admin and HR functions The COO shall report to the Managing Partner of Alpha Alternatives and / or an appropriate Platform Partner. Qualifications and DNA: - MBA from premium business schools with a proven track record, with 15-25 years of relevant experience; - Ideally a good understanding of equity markets, commodity markets, and asset management; - Good understanding of various regulated investment products such as AIF and PMS; - Experience in running operations at an asset management firm, broking firm or other similar financial services firms; - Strongly process oriented and should be able to bring gravitas to the role and operate the control function for the organization; - Team player with an entrepreneurial predisposition and strong interpersonal skills; - Intellectually strong with high levels of energy; - Passionate to be a part of building and creating a global quality and scale organization. The person should be dynamic to be able to figure out and implement the best practices and systems for a rapidly scaling organization on a going forward basis.
