Analyst Fixed Income - Alpha Alternatives is a multi-asset class alternatives asset management platform based out of India and Singapore, with over 3500cr of assets under management, and deep focus on alpha generation. - We operate across various alternative spaces like Commodities, Equities, Fixed Income, Absolute Returns, Structured Credit and Quant. Our products span across various investment structures such as NBFC (ND-SI), AIF (Cat II & III), PMS, RIA and Gift City. Qualification & Background: - We are seeking Chartered Accountant / MBA / CFA with 1-2 years of experience in Financial Markets, preferably in Fixed Income ; Bonds, Debentures, Govt Securities, Loans, dealing and trading. - The potential candidate should be looking forward to an extremely intense and challenging role at our asset management platform. - An ideal candidate would be someone who has been in a similar profile in the asset management / large NBFC / WDM Broking / financial services space. Roles & responsibilities : - Perform market research, analyse market conditions and works with clients to learn their financial goals - Analyse Corporate Balance Sheet, Bonds & Debenture structures and Credit ratings -Responsible for managing daily trading in government securities and corporate bonds to ensure timely execution of the orders and confirming that they are in compliance with regulatory policies. - Responsible for maintaining and updating inventory records, risk parameters, portfolio features and MIS reports etc. Using these records, the trader identifies and leverages opportunities by developing innovative trading ideas. - Recommend and institutionalize best governance policies and practices. DNA: - You will be expected to take a lot of initiative to do on-the-job learning about different financial instruments, products, regulatory structures ; both onshore and offshore. - You will be required to be flexible across functions and lead multiple projects simultaneously. - We expect you to have higher energy, higher intellectual capability, and a desire to handle bigger responsibilities than an average professional of your age/experience will generally do. - In the long run, if you do well, you can expect to create disproportionately higher value for yourself. - While the office location is in Dadar, Mumbai, select candidates may have the flexibility to operate out of other cities. - Salary will be discussed individually with selected candidates and will be at par with industry norms.
