Role Overview
We are seeking a visionary Chief Revenue Officer with 8-10 years of proven experience to spearhead all revenue-generating functions at Alkemy Edtech. Reporting to the CEO, you will develop and execute a multi-channel revenue strategy, driving growth through sales, marketing, partnerships, and customer success. Working a six-day week, you will leverage digital platforms, AI-driven insights, and scalable learning models to capture B2B and B2C markets, ensuring Alkemy achieves ambitious revenue targets in India's dynamic EdTech landscape.
Key Responsibilities
- Revenue Strategy Leadership: Develop and implement a scalable revenue strategy, integrating freemium, subscription, and hybrid (online-offline) models to drive enrollments across B2B (institutions, corporates) and B2C (individual learners) segments.
- Sales Optimization: Lead direct and inside sales teams to sell training programs, optimizing conversion funnels and scaling course sales across diverse price points (e.g., - 500 - 10,000).
- Digital Marketing Alignment: Oversee high-impact digital campaigns (e.g., YouTube, Meta Ads, Google Ads) to generate leads, ensuring alignment with revenue goals.
- Partnership Development: Forge strategic partnerships with educational institutions, corporates, and resellers to expand market reach and create new revenue streams.
- Customer Success & Retention: Implement retention strategies to maximize customer lifetime value, ensuring high satisfaction and repeat enrollments through seamless onboarding and support.
- AI & Analytics Integration: Leverage AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, predictive analytics) for personalized marketing, lead scoring, and sales automation, with prompt engineering to optimize outcomes.
- Team Leadership: Align sales, marketing, and customer success teams (10-20 members), fostering a high-performance culture to achieve revenue targets.
- Pricing & Revenue Models: Design competitive pricing strategies to capture diverse learner segments, balancing profitability and accessibility.
- Market Expansion: Identify and penetrate new market segments (e.g., Tier 2/3 cities, corporate training) to drive revenue growth.
- Performance Reporting: Deliver data-driven reports to the CEO, forecasting revenue pipelines and presenting strategic insights using tools like Salesforce and Tableau.
Qualifications
- Experience: 8-10 years in revenue-generating roles (sales, marketing, business development), with 3-5 years in a senior leadership role driving revenue growth in EdTech, SaaS, or e-learning.
- Proven Experience:
- Demonstrated success in scaling revenue (e.g., - 10 Cr+ annually) through multi-channel strategies, with case studies or reports showcasing growth in enrollments or sales.
- Track record of leading high-performing teams (10+ members) to achieve revenue targets in dynamic markets.
- Experience implementing freemium, subscription, or hybrid revenue models, with evidence of increased customer acquisition and retention.
Must-Have Certifications:
- Google Ads Certification (Search or Display).
- HubSpot Inbound Marketing or Sales Certification.
- Google Analytics Individual Qualification (GAIQ).
- Salesforce Certified Sales Cloud Consultant.
- Preferred: AI-related certifications (e.g., Coursera's AI for Digital Marketing) or Meta Blueprint Certification.
- Deep knowledge of EdTech revenue models (freemium, subscriptions, B2B contracts, hybrid learning).
- Advanced proficiency in AI tools (e.g., Jasper, ChatGPT, predictive analytics) for marketing, sales, and customer insights, with hands-on prompt engineering skills.
- Expertise in tools like Salesforce, HubSpot, Google Ads, Meta Ads, SEMrush, Tableau, and Klaviyo.
- Exceptional leadership, strategic thinking, and communication skills, with a collaborative approach to align cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA or advanced certifications strongly preferred).
- Commitment to a six-day work week (Monday to Saturday).
