Aliens Group - Deputy Head - Marketing

The Role

We at Aliens are looking for an enthusiastic and self-driven Deputy Head in Marketing with 3 to 10 years of strong professional experience in multiple channels of marketing, including online and digital. The incumbent will be responsible for segmenting the customer base, targeting and positioning our products, communicating the product value and driving product distribution all the while balancing customer's interests and organisation's feasibility.

S/he will be required to drive all channels of marketing end-to-end and travel across location as per need basis. The incumbent would work in a high-paced team environment with a reporting team size of at least 10 members. S/he would be based in Hyderabad and would report to the Marketing Head (Space Station).

This is a highly visible and strategic role and the individual will be pivotal in the next leg of our growth journey.

Key Responsibilities

1. Coordinating and executing customer research, creating a competitive overview of industry and research and identifying target audience

2. Developing product messaging and positioning framework

3. Coordinating launch plans and defining product pricing in collaboration with other teams

4. Prioritizing potential distribution channels

5. Ensuring overall performance of product distribution efforts like budget management, team/agency coordination and performance metrics

6. Testing, analysing and optimizing distribution channels and executing marketing programs

Candidate Profile :

Specifically, the candidate should have:

- MBA/PGDM from Tier-1/2 B-School in Marketing/Sales or equivalent field

- Proven experience as a marketing specialist with a focus on performance marketing within the real estate sector is mandatory.

- Excellent people management, communication, negotiation and team management skills

- Prior experience of working with a young and dynamic marketing team
