Job brief

We are looking for a Deputy Head of Banking to ensure timely payments from the customers and banking partners. You will also play a pivotal role in building bandwidth to streamline banking operations within the organization. Ultimately, you will maintain our company's financial health and increase profitability in the long run.

Responsibilities

- Hands-on experience in home loan, documentation and disbursement

- Tie-up with new banks for partnerships

- Monitoring accounts to identify overdue payments

- Keeping accurate records and reporting on collection activity

- Investigate historical data for each debt or bill

- Take actions to encourage timely debt payments

- Resolve billing and customer credit issues

- Update account status records and collection efforts

- Report on collection activity and accounts receivable status

Requirements

- Proven work experience in- a similar role

- In-depth understanding of cash flow management, bank reconciliation and bookkeeping

- Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting models

- Proficiency in accounting software

- Knowledge of billing procedures and collection techniques (e.g. skip tracing)

- Familiarity with laws related to debt collection (e.g. FDCPA)

- Working knowledge of MS Office and databases

- Comfortable working with targets

- Solid analytical and decision-making skills

- Leadership abilities
