Aliens Group - Chief Human Resource Officer (15-30 yrs)
- The Chief Human Resource Officer will ensure that the human capital is in place for the sustenance and growth of the business of the organization. She/he will partner with the business functions and the top management to understand the current state of the functioning of the organization and the vision.
- Then they will undertake the necessary actions to ensure that the business goals to be achieved are not made unattainable due to the manpower constraints and that the human resources are in place to attain the organizational vision. To this end, the CHRO will supervise the availability of HR in terms of numbers through recruitment sourcing and retention quality through pre-recruitment screening, performance evaluation and management, and rewards and recognition (motivation).
1) Recruitment :
A. Ensure that the sufficient number of employees are available in the company at all levels to meet the business objectives of the company. For this, they will have to do the necessary manpower planning and identify the gaps in the talent pool in terms of both numbers and skill sets. Further, they will have to act on priority to fill the gaps arising due to voluntary attrition, through replacement hiring.
B. Optimize the investments across recruitment channels ensuring that all productive channels are activated and functioning, and that unproductive channels are deactivated.
C. Supervise the design and execution of the recruitment process to ensure the relevance of candidatures and the suitability of the new hires to the tasks of the job, the organizational culture and the vision of the management.
2) Performance Management :
A. Design a robust performance management framework to facilitate the evaluation and analysis of employee and team performance to facilitate the attainment of organizational goals through ensuring productivity by taking corrective action where required or giving rewards and recognition where due.
B. Streamline the salary expenses by weeding out under performers, checking incentive leakages and ensuring the correct allocation of performance based pay.
3) Employee Engagement :
A. Undertake various activities of an ongoing or one-off/ periodical sort to ensure employees connect and engagement, and instill a spirit of corporate citizenship and organizational pride.
B. Analyze the work-culture/ organizational culture and recommend changes to be made. Undertake programs to effect the desired change.
C. Work towards making the Aliens- work place a safe, comfortable and productive space for all employees.
D. Provide thought leadership on new trends in HR and take the initiative in implementing innovative HR practices within the company
