Aliens Group - Business Analyst - IIT/IIM/NIT/FMS/MDI/XLRI/NMIMS/SIBM/IIFT/IMI (0-4 yrs)
We at Aliens are looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic Business Analyst as part of our high performing Business Unit with 0 to 3 years of strong professional experience in business analyst profile across organisations and industries, preferably real estate. The incumbent will be responsible for driving solutions based on insights captured through data.
S/he will be required to identify key issues, suggest recommendations and be the change agent. The incumbent would work in a high-paced team environment with multiple team members. S/he would be based in Hyderabad and would report to the respective Business Unit Head.
Key Responsibilities :
- Preparing technical reports, dashboards by collecting existing information and trends
- Performing daily, weekly and monthly reviews and analyses using operational metrics
- Creating informative, actionable and repeatable reporting that highlights trends
- Improving systems by studying current practices and designing modifications
- Carrying out scenario planning, risk assessment and business (revenue) projections
- Performing complex data analysis (root cause deep dives, correlations, regressions, simulations, and optimization) to increase business revenue
- Validate resource requirements, develop cost estimate models and conduct cost benefit analysis to increase process efficiency and subsequently achieve reduction in cost
- Highlight potential analytical issues upfront and resolve them independently
- Suggest changes to senior management using analytics to support the recommendations
Specifically, the candidate should have :
- Excellent academic record with 80% or more in at least one board examination or higher
- Undergraduate and Post-graduate (if applicable) from NIRF ranked campus
- Minimum 0-3 years of experience in business analytics profile from across sectors
- Excellent communication, presentation and mandatory typing skills of 35-45 WPM
- Experience with Business Intelligence and Data Visualization tools ( Tableau, Qlikview)
- Strong functional knowledge of statistics, Advanced Excel & Macros, Programming languages like VBA, R, Python
- A Strong individual contributor who can work with minimal direction and oversight
