Job Summary :
To network with strategic customers within the zone to build excellent client relationships through personal contacts, regular meetings and Key Opinion Leader's and also to influence and develop other key customers while also focusing on identifying methods to create demand for Alere's products
Primary Duties & Responsibilities :
- Strategize for the achievement of regional sales target through the zonal team by break down of annual targets to half-yearly then quarterly and finally monthly
- Continuously monitoring the achievement of the targets by keeping a close check on monthly target achievement by RSMs and their respective teams
- Ensure satisfactory resolution of client queries and concerns in a timely manner
- Communicate product schemes and offers to the RSMs and ensure their implementation
- Achieve inventory planning and control in such a manner that the stock are sufficient for immediate order fulfillment as well ensuring that the products to not exceed the expiry date or get technologically redundant or non-competitive in the market
- Communicate proposed Inventory levels to the NSM for approval
- Coordinates with Marketing for the organization of seminars, meets and conferences on zonal level for building a prospective client database
- Interacts with large customers for product feedback
- Conveys RSMs any new product launches or key features improvement of the existing product line
- Retains accounts through the development of strong relationships with key decision makers within the customer organization
- Conducts strategic account reviews with RSMs on a regular basis to review service needs, usage trends and to identify products and pricing that meet customer needs and business objectives.
- Prepares zonal report and strategizes the path forward towards the achievement of sales target
- Reviews sales activities status reports from RSMs and their teams on a weekly basis
- Receives product and client engagement feedback from RSMs and shares the same with NSM and Marketing
Educational Qualification : Science Graduate ; MBA (Marketing) is preferred
Experience Years : 8-10 yrs.
Competencies :
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Should have excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills
- Strong overall computer skills including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook.
